Rip Tide is a 17.1 hand grey Holsteiner stallion. He has proven to be as good minded and trainable as he is versatile in his athleticism. He has a refined head set on a clean throat latch and elegant neck. His compact frame, large bone and straight legs support a very strong top line and hip allowing him to excel over jumps, in dressage and sire superior quality horses for the Olympic disciplines.

Rip Tide’s sire, Riverman, is well known for his ability in dressage and for how he excelled in producing athletes. Riverman has been named 5 times the USEF Eventing Sire of the Year and was honored for 3 consecutive years as the TopRanked US-based Show Jumping Sire by the USEF.

RipTide passes his kind and brave temperament, trainability and strong frame to his foals. This is the sire of high performance horses with amateur friendly temperaments. Liscensed with GOV, which is the German Oldenburg Verband, and Oldenburg NA/ISR. Currently showing Prix St. Georges Dressage and showing at a 1.20 meter jumpers. During the 2019 North American Stallion Sport Test Rip Tide was presented as a show jumper and took home the Jumper Champion title receiving 8’s in canter, scope, rideability and overall impression.
